Richard's father will die if he doesn't provide a human sacrifice for the "gods". Richard is an American qualified medical doctor and wants to take his father back to the U.S. to correct his heart condition. Richard's brother Ben will now inherit his father's wealth because he performed and provided the sacrifice. Their father dies anyway. The "fraternity" grows stronger as it gains control of government, judicial, and enforcement agencies. When the cult's candidate for governor loses his election, he confesses his sins to his pastor and the DPO. Then he shows them his roasted mother and wife hanging in his closet.
