Aunt Ezekiel is a Tanzanian movie actress.

She is undoubtedly one of the hottest items in Bongo movies whose efforts in different films have made her a house hold name.However, Aunt Ezekiel has in recent weeks been a centre of controversy after the actors’ guild reportedly banned her from acting in any movie for four months.

Speaking to The Beat yesterday, the actress said the reports were not true and they were just mere words from the grapevine.“I have also heard of these rumours just like you but I would like to say that there is no grain of truth in whatever is being said,” she said.

She added that she was actually in the middle of her current project called Houseboy and House Girl a film that narrates the daily lives of domestic workers in Tanzania.

“The date for the release of the film has not yet been set but God willing it will be out either at the end of December or early January,” said Aunt Ezekiel.
